DFP to HDMI Result: - DFP to DVI-D Cable and DVI-D to HDMI Cable

Both your source device AND your display device communicate via a digital format, however, DFP to HDMI cables are very rare unless ordered custom.  This connection will not be as simple as some others, although not as difficult as say an analog to digital conversion.  There will be two cables involved in this setup, or the combination of one adapter and one cable.  Of the cables needed is a DVI-D to DFP-20 cable and a DVI-D to HDMI cable, which you will have to chain together.  Here we are using the DVI interface as a common ground between DFP and HDMI.  At least one of the cables must have a female DVI connector, it does not  matter which.  Be aware, however, that DFP does not carry the Audio signals that HDMI would between HDMI devices so you will need to find another way to send the audio signals depending on the types of audio interfaces your devices are using.  We will not get into that here.  If you need help with connecting the audio, or the video, please click on the Live Chat on the bottom left of the page.  These are the video cables you may need and some adapters you may find useful for your application.
