DVI-I to VGA Result: - Use DVI-A to VGA Cable

This is a highly common situation and is the main reason the DDWG came up with a DVI analog standard.  Your source device AND your display device both make use of analog video transmissions.  Thus, all you will need to connect these two devices together is a DVI-A to VGA / SVGA Cable.  If you want to use the superior digital format you would need to replace the VGA device with one that is capable of DVI-I or DVI-D transmissions.  These are the cables you may need and some adapters you may find useful for your application.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to click the Live Chat link on the bottom left hand side of this page.
